My take, I feel that you shld try to isolate more the subject from the background.

1. the 2 patches of yellow flowers at the right of the pic is distracting,

2. More shallow DOF shld be played here.

Other then that I find the pic a nice one.

Nice try on a 1st attempt. Try composing the butt a little tight and off-centre (rule of thirds). It'll look better.

Hey Guys. Thanks for all your guides and feedback.

Sky flash. Yes this is at AH. Just wonder the chocolate pansy is a butterfly or a moth. It has a fat moth body

Avartar Thanks for flying this butterfly to Macro. Paiseh, I dare not to post at macro coz I thought this shot is not macro enough

Bluestrike, thanks for your guide. My zoom lens couldn't get very close macro shot. Maybe should get a macro lens.

Khairi, thanks for your encouragement bro.

Azone, good suggestion. Thank you.

How can I tell a moth from a butterfly?

Butterflies and moths both belong to a group of insects called "lepidoptera", meaning that they have wings covered with scales. They are related in many ways. Butterflies are generally brightly-colored while moths are generally drab, though they are many dramatic exceptions to this. Almost all butterflies are active during the day, and most (but by no means all) moths are active at night. A good way to tell the difference is by their antennae. Butterfly antennae are shaped somewhat like a golf club, with a long shaft. Most moths have either simple filaments tapering to a point, or complicated affairs with many cross-filaments.
Hey Skyflash, Thank you for such great effort to explain the differences. I'm quite certain about its identity now.Cheers
