Don't think it'll have any negative effects.. the flash's not made for Singapore's market alone.. think about people who have them in countries with lower humidity.. correct me if I'm wrong, but I doubt they keep it in humidifying cabinets..

More importantly is to take out your batteries if you aren't using the flash for sometime, in case they "leak".

My two SB800 are inside, but my Metz 60 and two Metz 45 are not inside as no more space for them.

Before i keep both of my flash & batteries inside my dry box when i only hve little equipment, now my dry box only can be filled with my bodies & lenses, no more extra space so i just put them in my cupboard or leave it at my bags if i'm to lazy to put them away, i just remove the batteries from them if i'm not using them for more than 1 days
i buy i sell i use, repeat, such are the vicious endless cycle of GAS

Have space just put...no space also dun worry. As long as you have use the flash and not let it collect dust.

Sometime i also leave my flash outside for 3-5days when in use.

I leave them inside since I have space in my cabi anyway. Doubt anything would happen, nothing has happened to mine so far.

not recommended because there was 1 discussion, can't find. Suggested by established brand, will shorten the lifespan of the speedlight.

Hmm.. just curious, but what happens if the flash is used in countries with rh around 45%?? I'm sure Canon, nikon or which ever brand don't design the flash to be used only in specific countries??

i keep all my 3 flashes in there. easier to consolidate all my equipment, nothing about lifespan.
