...the US and her alliances are burnt. They are more cautious now and do not speak as loudly as before.

What's next, it is everybody guess!

The recent uprising in Middle East showed the power of communication. Messages, internet, mobile phones had change the way info is broadcast to the mass.

China realised these and stopped them. If not they may be another culture revolution!

Err... I think, is better to spend sometimes read into China's Culture Revolution then to compare it with the revolution happening to middle east.

It is a matter of time that China becomes the world first by 2020?

Beside Japan, China is the other Asian they fear. They have the G20.. just take a look, how many Asia country is in.

There were 2 ... NATO and WARSAW. Now none.. good to have a balance of power with China coming in.

Next to watch is India... and Russia is returning.
If history has taught us anything, it is any major power would always seek to establish its own hegemony.

Remember Rwanda. UN had soldiers on the ground. Refused to order them to act to stop the killing. USA did not send troops to stop the killing. About 800,000 killed. Mostly with machetes chopping. When big powers act, it is always out of self-interest. Now if Rwanda had 40% of the world's supply of OIL reserves, then it would be a different story. If the big powers cannot find a good reason to rush in with troops, they will invent one...such as for example, they suspect someone is having weapons of mass destruction. But of course everyone knows the REAL reason.

It is NATO now. Everybody is waiting for everybody.. let UN decides. If they say send troop.. then it is a different story..

Do you think everybody will send their army in if UN say 'YES'?

Well, for the Europeans, Libya is almost their next door neighbour. They will have to do something concrete about it.

One option is a no-fly zone, effectively grounding Libya's Air force.

Imagine thousands and thousands of boat people crossing the Mediterranean to arrive at Italy.

When Russia invaded Afghanistan, USA supplied Stinger missiles to the Mujahideen. The terrifying losses of Russian planes and helicopters made it an indirect no fly zone. But in this case, Nato will talk about it. Talk about it. Talk about it. Talk about it. Talk about it. Talk about it. Talk about it. Talk about it. Talk about it. Talk about it. Talk about it. Talk about it. Talk about it. Talk about it. Talk about it. Talk about it. Talk about it. Talk about it. Talk about it. Talk about it. Talk about it. Talk about it. Talk about it. Talk about it. Talk about it. .......Well, that's the idea. Before they finish talking, someone would have killed all the protestors. Then the problem no longer exists and does not need to be solved anymore.

No fly zone is a red herring. You mean they cannot kill people without using planes?
The Japanese killed many in Nanking in WW2 using ground troops, tanks, artillery, rifles, knives, swords, bayonets and grenades.

There are reports that Gaddafi is winning the war as his army is better armed and the army is more organised.

So Obama... who to support now?
