    Red face Different between red dot and white dot at the Canon lenses?

    Hi newbie here, may i know what is the different between red dot and white dot which is found at the canon lenses?

    EF-S means its only able to mount of APS-C bodies, e.g 550D,60D,7D
    EF means its able to mount on APS-C, APS-H, FF bodies, e.g 7D, 1D MK IV, 1Ds MK III.
