Default Dynax 5 & G2 Flash

Hi. I currently own these two cameras. Is there a flash that's compatible with both? How imp is it to stick to minolta & canon flashes?

Minolta's hotshoe is proprietary, there is no way you can share flashes.

Actually, you might be able to, but that's with the expensive Metz flashes. Either that or I believe the older Vivitar(?) flashes had that too, but I think they don't have a new Minolta AF hotshoe for it.

Thanks for the replies. Maybe i shall just stick to one for my minolta. Which flash do u guys recommend for the dynax 5? Just need something simple with tilting/swivelling head. How much do they cost?

i belive something with a tilting/swiveling head doesn't quite fall into the category of 'simple'...

try looking at Sigma's range... forget Minolta if you're worried about cost.
