It all starts with a concept when capturing the shot. I bring the file into photoshop and do the necessary cleaning up of noise and correct any distortion found. Subsequently, it's all selective dodging and burning (actually i use more selective leveling that actually burning/dodging) in photoshop. After acquiring the right amount of shadow/mid-tone/highlight details in the shot, I simply toned the image slightly with a bronzy tint, to create the warmness you see.
