    Default Pink flower

    1. In which area is critique or feedback to be given?
Focus of the picture, colours and composition.

    2. What were you hoping to achieve with this image?
Focus point of the flower whereas the background is out of focus.

    3. Under what circumstance was the picture taken? (physical conditions/emotions)
Relaxed condition, taken handheld during midday.

    4. Thread-starter's personal thoughts about the image?
First few attempts at taking flower pictures. I think that this picture has a good composition and that this photo was unedited in anyway.

I think too much distraction behind the flower. Get a closer shot will be better.

Agree it is not a bad start. The photo is quite pleasing to the eye. I would think that the flowers on the bottom right are a bit too small for anyone to gather any details.

Also one would not naturally look towards them. they could be better positioned. A bit too corner for me.

    agree with this.

closer up. with the flowers occupying the lower right intersection using the rule of thirds
