I do not recommend going to 3x.

To retain good IQ, 1.4x and 1.7x is as far as I would go.

I have a 2x but that is something my dad had for a long time, a previous version of the Kenko telecon.

Only 3x have no AF. The rest can AF on AF-D

I have and used the Kenko Pro 300 2X for the 80-200mm.. work fine (if you can handle 2-stop drop).. AF unless you are in low-light condition.

Didn't know there is a 3X version.. wonder you cant AF because it is too dark (and AF circuit cant work) or that 3x version dont have the electronics?

If cloudy... better arm yourself with a FF for higher ISO performance... otherwise, LL... Of course, if not enough light higher ISO also no use... coz AF will not work...

I only have 2 rolls left. ISO200 Color, and a ISO100 B&W. Both Lucky brand from China. I think is 3.50 a roll or something. Let me know if you want. I should be getting some Kodak Tri-X 400 soon. Let me know if you want to buy some too. We can go to Peninsular together. And when I go China/HK, I will try to get my hands on some Fuji Neopan as well.

And no, I am not bringing my film camera. My friend will probably bring his Canon DSLR too. Quite a good shooter he is too. I will be going out to shoot with him tomorrow sunrise first, but not at same location as the tide is a lot higher tomorrow.

I tested the 2.0GT early last year (before the COE went crazy).
Price was good, but the car didn't give me that 'shiok' feeling whilst driving. Body flex quite prominent and the brakes kinda lacking in feel...

ya. the loaner is a 1.5. Worse. But options are decked out, compared to Toyotas.
