Nice.. Thought the han yu ping yin should be "bin"?
The horse is going to get the Bin next. Personally feel that w/o the black patch in the BG will be better..

They are covered becos they have run out of "bin". So, those covered one are "bin".

my guess is that their version of chess starts with all pieces covered, except maybe the jiang. then as they play, they uncover the pieces. that should explain both questions!
