what logic is this..it's like saying if i poke a HIV-infected needle into you for less than 1 min, it should be fine and you won't kena infected.

there's always that chance that fungus from the lens can spread to the camera if used.

I can give it to you if you want it, not responsible for anything that happens after you use it though

There are fungus spores everywhere even on your body as well. The only limiting factor that will allow these fungus spores to grow and reproduce being environmental conditions.

    fungus spore is everywhere, bro!
even if the lens is not paired up, any camera body have chance to get infected from spores in the air..
my point is that, testing it for a very minimal amount of time wouldn't really hurt..
i have never said that it won't get infected, what i was saying is that i don't think it will transfer all the fungus immediately and render the camera useless.. i think the amount of spores transferred will be the same as if you left the camera out of the dry cabinet for maybe a week? what i want to say is that it doesn't make so much difference..
after use, can leave it in the dry cab and most probably it will not grow, because fungus spores are everywhere.. even in the dry cab.. just whether it grows or not..

but it is up to TS.. for me, i don't mind taking some sample image, maybe a shot or two.. i am not a clean freak, i am more of a user type..

    cheers..

I just bought a 2nd hand 17-50mm that has something that like ..
You saw such markings on the lens, yet you still bought it...

If it is really fungus, don't place it with your gear, as it can spread...
