Just came back from Sentosa and a hot shower.... Crrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrap! I should have stayed at the broadwalk and wait for the sunset...

The star of the show are those fake flowers (big big ones, tulips etc)...meanwhile fresh flowers are just supporting... epic fail.... Past years are better...

Not even worth the $1 admission if you ask me... crowd crowd and more crowd... lol

Luckily didn't bring bamboo or else I'd have cursed and swear... well at least I've burnt some CNY calories for the $1 worth...

Oh yeah!! But then, I'm not the only one going there... If it was, I'd have stayed... anyway I stayed closed by, can shoot there anytime... the only sucky thing is that string of cable cars blocking the nice view.... have to PP away...

Come to think of it... maybe the view deserves a super wide panning/stitch shot from Sentosa to HB/Vivocity? Since the cable cars are there, might as well incorporate it in nicely??

Gave up so go for modding now.
Btw is tokina 11-16 ok for ir . Heard there is some hotspots.

@ yilin: Good to have a converted DSLR for IR. Tokina 11-16's hotspot is still manageable. May i know whether fatigue is putting in 650nm or 720nm filter inside?

@ ClemC: Pardon as i have not tried using IR-filter on any un-modded DSLR except my converted D70 (R72). But i will try it on my unconverted D300 if i got the opportunity.

You can find the list @ http://www.clubsnap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=183234

Would like to meet up with you all for some landscape shoot

Thanks SDW for the list (sorry for not searching myself.. just have not been serious in IR yet).. but I will try with my D200 when I'm out shooting.. SDW - you have the ELP filter, keen to try, heard quite a bit of good stuff about it..

Yes, good to have a landscape session.. any of the Sunchasers Seniors keen?... Can come down and support?... If yes, about time to do one...

DD is busy on Sunday mornings (marketing), though I'm not sure if the stall operators are generally open already by tomorrow?
