Modern digital photography offers numerous advantages over film for manipulating light. Nevertheless, even today’s high-end professional digital cameras are incapable of capturing the full dynamic range of light the photographer can perceive.
High dynamic range (HDR) photography offers an answer.
Join us as we explore the techniques of creating beautiful, ultra-realistic HDR images using Adobe Photoshop and Photomatix Pro. From camera settings to software manipulation, we will provide you with all the knowledge you need on making HDR images with effortless ease.

· Setting up the camera for HDR shooting
· Tips on image capture for HDR processing
· Pre-HDR workflow and file handling
· Processing images using Adobe Photoshop
· Using Photomatix Pro

Important note: All participants to bring their own laptop with Adobe Photoshop CS5 installed. For participants without the software, a 30-day trial version will be provided. Please be in class 30 minutes early should you require Photoshop installation. A trial version of Photomatix Pro will also be supplied.
