To me, both batteries (pana & tp) seem to last equally long leh. Didn't ready bothered and also too lazy to do a comparsion . Sorry not able to give you guys a good answer . But one thing for sure, all digital cameras suck power like an vampire when using only the lcd to shoot .

Cheers

I am using EastGate over a month, no different from the original. Except the battery does not really catch on tight to the charger, but it does charge normally.

Hi NewGuy69,

Some of us would be very interested in the battery you mentioned.

Could you provide us with details of where you got it from / reliability / price?

Thanks Man!

Hi Feinwerkbau,

I got this battery together with my FZ10 cam from a neighbourhood cam retailer.

Note: Due to some unpleasent experiences in the past in another forum, I will not be naming any shops or where I bought the stuffs. My sincere apology.

Description:
Veri big wording/brand indicated in front of the battery box: DIGITAL
Colour of the box: Reddish (colour fading towards the bottom of the box)
Model No: SDV-BM7
Price: $30
Made: Japan
Where to get: Selling at many cam retail shops. The best is to get it from the shop where you bought your cam or frequently patronize. Usually most retailers will give their regulars a discount.

Test result: So far so good, using it for several weeks now, can't really find any diff with the pana batt. Both seems to lasts equally long.

Hope my info may help you a bit.

Cheers

Thanks for whatever assistance you have provided.

Sorry to hear about the unpleasant experiences man.

Forums can sometimes get really ridiculous...but so far, things in CS seem quite ok compared to some other forums I have seen where even profanity and open abuse is allowed!

Default hi

have you used the OEM battery 7.4V 800mAh
just bought from SB
but different from my original one 7.2V 680mAh
Afraid can not use in my camera or damage my camera (FZ20)
