Default Shooting @ Sentosa on Monday 19/7

I'm planning to go Sentosa the coming Monday to do some shooting. I'm using the 828 and will be accompanied by a friend (who uses D70). So I thought of inviting any sony users who might be interested to join in. Here's the planned itinery:

Time:
3 pm onwards (may meet a little earlier to share experiences on photography)

Destinations:
1) Fort Siloso
2) Nature Walk and maybe Butterfly Garden as well. Can do quite a fair bit of macro shots here.
3) British Barraks, Siloso & Tanjong Beach. By this time it will be late afternoon.
4) Sunset shooting from the viewing gallery. From this windy spot, you could see the sun going down on the waters next to Pulau Bukom.

Weather Check:
Will only confirm on the trip by Sunday as I will be checking on the latest weather forecast for Monday. Last sunday when I was there, it was a blue-sky afternoon, but come sunset, some clouds obstructed the view.

Can PM me if you wish to join in.

No worries man, always another time. Reason I chose monday is that it is my friend's off day (he works at a camera shop in peninsula, so can get discounts if items are available). For me doing freelance, I'm ok anytime one. Monday is a good choice as there will be a whole lot less crowd at any place you shot. Less distraction = can think better for a good photographic composition.

Snowspeeder, Rexus, I was thinking of holding another 2nd Sony gathering,
with more ppl to particpate this time
Any recommend place in weekend Sunday morning around 8.30 am?
Thinking of having one hour photo taking, follow by McDonald's breakfast/Coffee Bean/Star Bucks and chit chat on sony's gear like F32x, IR light, converter and so on.
(Since there ar so many question to be know, to be ask)

What do you think.

Either this Sunday or next sunday, not sure if DCA can make it since he should be having exam around the corner.
I have nothing in mind yet. AH ? Chinese Garden ? Chinatown?
Just a hour photo taking, follow by a nice chit chat and get to know each other.

Guess anyplace is good. I once went to MacRitche reservoir at 7 am in the morning to jog...there the waters are like sheets of glass, so calm and perfectly still. And the best part of it is that there're lots of mist or fog drifting on the water surface. It was an amazing sight, looked like some distant foreign land I must say. If only I had a camera then.

Anything is fine really...more suggestion..like hanging out at Four horse street and then proceed to Arab Street for street shots would be nice too.

Monday or any of these few days are bad. Weather has a high chance of messing things up, really bad these few days. They are already thinking of contingency plans for the Embrace Nature outing organised by Nikon SG and clubsnap this Sunday.

Even if it doesn't rain, it won't be nice if the sky is too overcast and grey (good for portraits though).

Well, it was quite cloudy on Monday, but in the afternoon blue sky emerged and the trip to Sentosa was fantastically relaxing since the weekend crowds are completely missing; except for the tourists. Took quite a few shots...had a hard time using the sony close up lens as the focusing distance has to be between 30 - 33 cm. The strenous part is adjust the tripod to derive the right distance. Here's what I got...
