    Hi bro,

If you have the cash to spare, you should get a manufacturer's flash for master control. One time pain is better than 2 times pain with 3 times the price.
If you wish to try a 3rd party flash, the nissin Di622 mk2 was really well reviewed.

I just bought a 430EXII from DD Electronics for $350 after 2% cash discount.
I understand that it is a grey set.
But after i bought it, I wonder could it be a refurbished set onot since it costs alot cheaper than other shops.

What difference would it make as long as it works and does the job? Check for signs of usage, a grey set should not have any. But then, deal is deal. You should check thoroughly in the shop before paying. Especially if the price is much lower than usual.
