P100 or W1?

hi guys, any advise on P100 and w1? similar cam but priced differently. whichh is better? btw wats the lowest price for w1 and where can get? wat best package it come wif ie the memory stick. Besides, wat the diff between a normal ms n ms pro? any1 can enlighten mi? btw, for a 5 mega pix n 3X optical zoom cam, wat brand, model u all suggest?

heard that u can get W1 for S$660 nett from either Cathay Photo or Alan Photo. now sony is giving 128mb ms n carry case i think. thats all i noe n hope it helps.

I just got the W1 from Ms color at $640. Its a great little cam!

both the p100 and the w1 come with 5megapix, 3x optical, and carl zeiss lens features and prices are not too different.

but i would go with the w1 because of 1 key features, 2.5" lcd!! further, the size in terms of handling is a little more ergonomic (personal preference).

another 2 points, p100 – lithium batt, w1 – 2xAA, and p100 – red / blue / silver, w1 – black / silver

if you want the best of both worlds... there's always the T1!!!

I got the W1 at $640 excluding GST and it comes with the Sony promotion bundle now. But the bag is crap.

MS Color is at AMK Ave 8 (Central), Block 711. They have got a website www.mscolor.com.sg.

You can email Florence for a quote. I think you can get a better price. Walk-in customers may get charged a higher price.

The picture quality of the T1 cannot match up to the W1 and P100. As a matter of fact, it's terrible for a Sony camera and Carl Zeiss lens. If picture quality is of no concern, it's a good buy. But I don't see what is the point of capturing 5 megapixel bad images.

Unlike the SLR camp. Your digicam does affect your ability to make good photos.

The cheapest W1 I can find is $650 with GST.

The bag is crap? Thought it looks ok and is pretty handy for carrying the W1 around.
