Anyone interested in my GX? I'm thinking to either do a CLA and keep it or sell it.
Which shop is more familiar with Electro? Anyone CLA before?

I keep hearing abt the Lynx, why is it special? Got pix/spec?
These RF are fun and w/o the mirror slapping, it's like taking photo with slr on tripod.
Less vibration therefore sharper on low speed like 1/30.

Got a Yashica Electro 35 GSN

it's actually my mother's.....just took it out of storage, cleaned it up, popped in a roll of 35mm kodak supra and a makeshift battery and started shooting. haven't developed the film yet though...

as i held it together with my D70, i see technology of 30 years.

i may just dump the d70 and go straight into 70's rangefinders!

i've got too many electro 35's.

as for the battery, you can use a 4LR44 and a spring. just wrap the battery in a bit of foam to make it fit better. (it's not necessary though.)

Try Adelphi Basement 1, P&G?

I have a Chrome Electro 35 GSN up for sale here: http://forums.clubsnap.org/showthread.php?t=104974

I got it serviced at P&G (Adelphi basement 1) abt a year ago and it's in pristine condition - lens is clean, light meter is accurate, shutter is smoooooth, rangefinder is calibrated, body is scratch-less... condition is 10 ! This is a completely rare situation, especially since this beauty was manufactured over 30 years ago. This is one heck of a camera - gave me rolls and rolls of great pictures. The Yashinon lens is a killer - no wonder they call this a poor man's Leica!
