Yes ... I am thinking of getting the same stuff ... just went to John 3:16 to check it out ...
However I am torn between 3 models currently available in Singapore 1. Image Tank - cheapest option but no other special functions 2. Nixvue Digital Album - can view images via a small colour LCD or view via connection to TV but quite expensive 3. Mindstor Digital Wallet - can do USB and Firewire (good for transfer large file size) but quite expensive Given budget constraints ... think I may still go for the Image Tank ... are you keen to go SLS to purchase and install together? Also, I have sort of lost touch with Hardware and do not really know which brand of hard disks are reliable and I need one to run on Macintosh ... Here a link that I found out that has sort of a comparision ... http://www.printamax.com.sg/comparisonchart.html ![]() |

go for the image tank. with 10G, you can shoot till your batteries go flat also cannot finish. futhermore, the fancy features on the other models are mostly available on your cam already
no point paying for duplication.... unless you feel that you'll need to do a lot of pic-editing on the move and do not want to drain the batt from the cam. D100 isit ![]()

Looteer, if you are going to Taiwan, you may want to check for the MMV-80H, it is cheaper than Imagetank, and has the feature of TV output. You can also check the Digibin, the best "looker" but much more expensive.

imagetank is also not readily available in TW, my friend told me very difficult to find.... so far i have read most users are happy with their imagetank.... it is a "looks-bad-works-great" product.... |

The MMV-80H seems to cost around US$259 with a 10GB hard-disk ... too bad it does not seem to support Macintosh ... so I guess it is out for me ...
So out of curiousity, may I know which hard disk did u buy, looteer and how much is it.... i have not gotten a chance to check out Sim Lim Square yet ... Probably will still go for the Image Tank as it seems the cheapest option and most compatible to Mac ... |

I'll vouch for the ImageTank. Went up to Port Dickson with only a 256MB card (OK lah got 128MB standby) and the ImageTank. Used the old 6GB hard disk from my Toshiba Satellite laptop, so did not even have to buy a hard disk. My 1GB plus of jpg files taken over 3 days are now safely in my home computer. Can buy a larger hard disk for longer trips nearer the time, when the capacity would have increased and the price dropped. That's one great advantage of the ImageTank - upgradeability.

Looteer, I went to the Taiwan website and mail-ordered the MMV-80H. I got the shipment yesterday and installed a 40GB IBM notebook harddrive successfully. If you need, you can send a email to the below Taiwan friend, he can help you. I paid him US$100 for the MMV-80H, plus SG$40 remittance bank charges. You also need to pay for the postage, that may be around SG$10-20. You can also call him up when you are in Taiwan.
