I meant the actual windows themselves... not the grill... if wanna install grill my advice is the horizonal bars type, ugly but practical. For the preparation of kids ... trust me, you'll feel safe with grills.

We use to have 2 by 3 window panels... then we changed it to a single large piece (each panel)... clean clean also siok...

oh.. i forgot you stay in central area, my area is so ulu and new, all the windows are one big pane kind...

haha even with kids, i think my 7 and 9 yr old nephew and nieces know enough not to stand near the window leh.. and, 1 more or 1 less to the country's population doesnt make alot of diff eh?

No lah, I dun care about the country's policy towards increasing population. That's up to individuals... Besides, increasing population isn't a perfect solution, mind you. When you increase, you need to think about increasing more in the next generation, and then even more in the following gen... think exponential figures.... in the end... population explosion anyway...

7 and 9 yr old no problem.... 2-5 years old bigger problem, some don't understand reasoning... just pull chair when you're not looking...

Japanese way around population problem is.... Robotics... Not perfect either, but sounds more practical...

Increasing population isn't the right word... should be more to "balance" the population. 2 adults for 2 kids.

u and hubby must hao hao zho ren.

i remember channel 8 news during one of the report.
    u know what hdb say??

the average 5rm hdb sqm is becoming small from the past 125+sqm to now 110+sqm is still ok due to the lesser producing nation.... i was like what is this...
Based on official surveys, the average household size was 3.4 and 4.6 in the 2000s and the 1980s, respectively. This means that an occupant in a 110 sq m five-room flat will have 32 sq m of space to himself, while a resident in a 123 sq m five-room flat in the 1980s had only about 27 sq m of space.
