Thread: Noisy question

  1. #1

    Default Noisy question

Im using a 500D now. Sometimes my pics come up noisy even when iso is 100. Use my kit 18-55 most of the time.

Does the body or the lens affect the noise in pics?

    possible reasons...

    - long exposure
    - very warm environment (sensor gets warm too)

    best to remove
    - NoiseNinja

And shot in RAW, plus Lightroom 3 or Photoshop RAW import

Otherwise - the lens shouldn't be the problem (unless very dirty)

Suggest you post an example photo (and include exposure settings) for more specific help

Likely reason is underexposure, but as Edwin Francis said, best to post up the example photo for discussion.
    Exploring! :)
