    Pentax Kx. $599 only from the camera plus kit lens. Much better features and performance. In fact its high ISO performance is better than many more expensive models.
    Else, the newer Kr is around $690.

LOL. den moved on to PnS. at 21 i finally used a bloody DSLR!!! at 23 i saved enough money from army to buy my own dslr. the point is...u don't need a dslr to take nice photos, especially in broad daylight. 1100D is coming out, but if you really on budget...take the other guys advice...go to the marketplace and search for D3000 or 1000D. seriously. don't procrastinate. just go buy lah.

    still saving so i will take this time to see whether should i join photography YET or later
