Thread: Filter Attachment for Nikon 14-24mm F2.8

Default Filter Attachment for Nikon 14-24mm F2.8

I read somewhere that there is a filter attachment to be placed on the built-in lens hood for the 14-24mm F2.8 lens that enables a filter to be placed on this lens. Does any one knows of this attachment and where can it be obtained? What is the price? Any photo available of this contraption? Thank you

The filter adaptor is from Lee and uses 150mm x 150mm slot-in filters. Cathay was selling the setup for around $650 with a hard-edge ND grad but seems like they have ran out for now.

Alternatively, you could DIY with Cokin filters. It's quite easy and less than 30 minutes, as claimed here:

    NIKON D90 (2008-2010), D700 (2010-2012), D800 (2012-2014), DF (Dec 2013-Sep 2017)

If you have extra dough. Get the Lee's.
