Yea, what do you mean the colour is weird? Care to post some samples? I suspect it is most likely a white balance issue. Anyway, some samples would help.

Good examples!

Yeah, the D70 on auto WB sometimes gives unpredictable result. Fortunately these are easy to correct post.

I guess a good way to overcome this is to be aware of the currect wb at at any given situation and set it manually, eg, cloudy -2, etc so that you get consistent results. Or, if time permits, do a measured WB, like the video guys always do when in a new environment, to ensure correct results at all times.

i use auto -1 or sometimes sunny -1 during outdoor bright day.

For sunny days, I usually use sunny -2 or -3 which gives fairly pleasing results, also cloudy with some compensation seem to work well for me as well. If you want real warm, experiment a little and try flash WB on sunny days - sometimes it works quite well, other times not so.

hi all.. i will try to get some samples for you people tomorrow.. i did not realise the difference until when used under studio light condition, when compared to my partner who is using a 300D. His colour is obviously better, i tried all ways to counter but to no avail. i shot in raw and used nikon capture but still... =( sad.. will post samples tomorrow.
