Can we see the firework from Padang if the NDP is held at Stadium?

Should be near Esplanade facing Marina Bay or somewhere around Merlion.

I meant that the NDP is held at Padang..... but it's actually at the Stadium The festival of fireworks is held Marina area and is probably "larger" than the NDP's fireworks.

So anyone wanna give advice and tip on how to capture all these wonderful firework displays? The first fireworks display would be on 1/8 from 8pm onwards...

And also would there be a group outing for this, once a year, event?

I am thinking maybe agood spot for the fireworks event at Marina would be at Marina City Park area, so that the city skyline would be in the background. See picture here - http://www.sff2004.com/event.html#6

    Any suggestions?

    Tips:
    http://www.nyip.com/tips/current/firewksintro.php
    http://www.clubsnap.org/display.php?.../fireworks.htm
    http://www.google.com.sg/search?q=sh...-8&hl=en&meta=

Search for "fireworks" in Clubsnap and you can find quite a number of CSter discussing the same topic over all these years.

    Based on the firing area:
    1) You can catch it from Merlion Area (which might be cordoned for VIP)
    2) Sheares Bridge (Too near and resulted fireworks out of frame)
    3) Ritz Carlton Hotel (Shooting thru glass panel)
    4) Esplanade Bridge (early bird will be there)

Just some of my suggestions. Hope it helps
Recce the spot you want before you shoot and hot spots as suggested are good for viewing but might not be a good spot for taking photos

    My 0.002 cents
