Didn't want to intrude other's thread so decided start one on my own.
I'm currently thinking of getting a film slr and have an offer to buy a 50v with batt grip. to my knowledge, it's a pretty old model. How does it compared to EOS 30 or 300? From some of the replies to the other thread, 50v allows infra-assist focusing, how about metering itself? accurate? ease of use? thanks in advance. |

Have one. Use it as a backup. The built in RED AF assist lamp is good. So's the IR remote.
Only 3 focus points. Metering works fine. Battery Grip allows use of AA or 2CR5(dunno why u'd buy those when AA's cheap). |
