Vivitar flash?

Hi,

Just like to find out, if anyone has any experience using the Vivitar 728AF flash?
Any idea it's suitable for digital cams and whether it can connect to a olympus c2100 via pc cord?

The voltage according to http://www.botzilla.com/photo/strobeVolts.html is pretty low and suitable for digital cameras. As for the flash itself, I don't have much info. If it has an auto mode, it'll work easily.

Thanks for the info mpenza. What's auto mode? I'm totally new
to external flashes. Kamwai's made to order flash sounds interesting, not sure if it can be used with oly cams

Btw, any idea if there's a cheaper 3rd party pc cord for olympus cameras? Heard the original cost about $80.
