There is too many photos that LE and HDR for no reason but view as "correct", i like the simple processing u have done by placing on composition first.

and that is the only thing i want to impart on TS. removing dust from the photos presented to us viewer.. if she dont want to clone it maybe send the cam for cleaning right? but presenting something like a dirty photo for critique or for comment particularly here in CS and sure it will be pointed out.. defending a mistake done and pointing that the correct way (to clean a photo) is not photography is stubbornness.

#11 & 12 , yup.. didnt find out there's dust until pp it.. however, i dislike removing existing stuff in photos or even add in. That's manipulating instead of photography, i dun wana cheat. Haha. For noise part, it's ISO 100 already.. soo gotta experiment more w e settings before i could get it right.

I don't know how you define terms such as 'good photographer' and 'correct post processing' I like how TS is creating her images and not conformed to the usual 'standard', 'manufactured' or 'politically/technically/morally correct' image.

How about you give more precise insight on how to process things correctly by showing us some of your shots so it's easier to explain things?

If you think there must be a certain fixed way an image should be handled then you are wrong.

If you think any photos can be achieved using auto/half-auto setting and anyone who start out learning shouldn't go full manual just because they're not sure of what they're doing, you are also wrong.
my post ticked you off? watching too much drama is it?
maybe if you read the entire post and not just look at the photos then you would understand what i am trying to say than to keep explaining again..

i only added the word stubborn and it ticked you off..
i know the nature of TS which is why i never even commented on the photos except the dust and see where it is leading to.

she has talent but too stubborn to listen..

    isn't that a compliment?

    @Turtle San
Keeping yourself within the rules will keep you as a safe photographer with no breakthrough.
MC: Agreed to a point. You can't "Break the Rules" unless you know what the rules are, and how to "break them" or why...

Break it. There'll be people who can't accept, likewise there'll be people who can accept it.
MC: Try saying that to your Customer, and see how quickly you will go hungry...
As I said before, if you are simply shooting for yourself, then there are "NO RULES". but if you want to be commercial, then you'd better toes the line...

Not all experiments will work but when you breakthrough it good. That's it.
MC: Who dares to experiment "on the clock" of a Customer's time, and money? You also risk your reputation when you even try that. Coz they will ONLY remember ALL your "Screw-ups", and know that you are a total retard coz you shot 50,000 shots, and only got one useable one, coz someone was too buzy "experimenting".

That being said, keep experimenting, BUT NEVER do that on your customer's time.

Perhaps you could control DOF till all of the "main subject" is in focus...
    For now, something is "missing"....

and the dragonfly could use a little crop/ move in closer with your lens..

DOF needs t be increased. imho
means, stop down the lens until all of the "Main Object" is sharp. Then let the background go blur...

Erm.. okie.. Is the main objects not sharp here? Umm.. because i see the things that i wana it to b e main focus that is already sharp.. Or do u tink there's a standard in which what should b sharp?

Sorry, the Rose shot DID NOT appear when I looked at this thread earlier. It does not.

The ROSE SHOT is the ONLY good one of the lot.
In fact, I can find NO FAULT in that one.

Looking at that as a reference then, you've kept the ENTIRE rose sharp, while letting everything else fall into a nice soft blur.
However, in all the rest fo the shots, the Main Subject starts to blur already, even before it "approaches" the background.
    Am I making sense now?

Erm.. Yes.. u do make sense, as always. The rose shot, to me.. is pretty meaningless in a way.. Haha.. Thou' it's sharp.. n i can point fault out of that. Other photos, like "#74 The Folding Violet" I would just want to capture the very well textured part of this whole "subject".. n others can be blur out. For as other people, they might want to shoot the whole of the subject or even other parts of it. This is when it comes to individual mindset.
