i had the Stamp Claimer, but found it too small for my liking, and mind you, i'm using the smaller F717. So... the Tall E would be a better bag. Something in between the Stamp claimer and the Tall E would be the Crumpler Budgie smuggler. same size, just shorter than the "Tall E"
I prefer Sling bags like the crumpler ones compared to camera backpacks because of the easier access to camera when using sling bags. IF you use a back pack, you have to stop walking, put down the backpack, open up and take out the camera. With a sling bag, you just flip the cover open while walking and whip out the camera. Much faster and more convenient ![]() |

I bought a Safrotto Backpack from TCW (The Camera Workshop) for $110 only. It looks exactly like the Lowepro one. Works great with the tripod holder too. Comes in three sizes, S, M or L. I have the S one. Just enough for my kit and an extra Lomo LC-A + Flim, P100 or DVD cam. Now on hindsight, a little more extra space would be better, maybe a M will serve me better.
Even better! It'll fold into a messenger bag. The whole backpack area will fold away! Not over yet! The should strap will transform into a waist strap for even more accessories and add-on pouches. It can be hooked as a waist strap in backpack mode to keep your backpack more stable. It's cheap, full featured and good quality. Do check it out before commiting to those branded bags that cost a whole lot more. There are a few variants as well. http://www.safrotto.com/bag_f.php As for Crumpler bags. They are hard and tend to swing a lot and hit your bum. Not versatile too. |
