Sigma EF-500 DG Super

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know about this sigma EF-500 DG Super? How is the performance? How do you find it?Any problem with using DSLR, I mean Canon 300D. Tell me if you know and much appreciated.

Well, i'm using one with the exact same combo now and so far it's been working pretty fine. I'm a flash newbie so it took me quite a lot of tinkering and figuring out before i found out how to use it "properly" but i'm still learning new things now tho.

Pros: Cheap! Lots of functions, powerful, quick recharge time, pretty light (compared to the canon equiv), very good battery life with sanyo 2300 nimh batts.

Negs: Build quality not very confidence inspiring, bounce angle starts from 60 degrees (no 45 degrees)
