    'S'??? I thought there's only D or no D. What's 'S'?

    In Japan, for the 50mm f/1.8, the version before the D is called S. There are other version before the S.

    Why so troublesome? Choose and buy one. After all, I don't think there's such a big difference in image quality.

    Not talking about image quality or pricing, Mudpool wants to know about the "description" Nikon use for their 50mm f/1.8 lens.
