Thread: Difference between Hoya NDX4 and Hoya ND4 filter?

  1. #1

Default Difference between Hoya NDX4 and Hoya ND4 filter?

Does the X mean anything? Also just asking, what grade does the ND filter of Hoya fall within? Is it a decent brand for ND usage?

I could not find results on google.

    All inputs appreciated! Thanks

Doesn't seem like the X has any significant meaning, probably just Hoya's way of branding it.

Hoya is among the 'better' brands, along side with it's more costly rival B+W. Most of my filters are Hoya.

Square ND8 filters are a cheaper alternative, albeit more troublesome though.
