    Default CF card problem

    hey guys

I got a Kingston 8 GB CF card. on the packaging and on the cf card itself, it states that its an 8 GB card. but when i put it in my D300s it only shows that it's capable of shooting only 166 RAW files.

puzzled, i check the properties of the card on my computer and it shows there's only 3.11 GB worth of memory total in the CF card!

    what to do?

Format the CF card in-camera. Usually fixes the problem. If not, time to call Kingston's distributor.
