    We meet at Central first (~ 6.15pm) and walk to Coleman bridge for capture sunlight.
    If find the angle not nice then we may shift to under bridge (along S'pore river).

    [Small-scale outing @ CQ sunset / Orchard X'mas lights ]

    * 1st group meet at Central @ Clarke Quay (location to be advised by Jacobs) at 6:15pm or something.

    * after that meet around Coleman Bridge at around 630. Someone kindly SMS me the exact location as I'll be driving down at around 6pm.

    After that simple dinner and then head towards Orchard/Scotts Rd area (ETA 8pm) to photograph x'mas lights from Wheelock till Paragon stretch.

    Central Carpark rate: 1700 - 0600 $2.50 per entry (Monday to Thursday)

    * after that meet around Coleman Bridge at around 630. Someone kindly SMS me the exact location as I'll be driving down at around 6pm.

    After that simple dinner and then head towards Orchard/Scotts Rd area (8pm) to photograph x'mas lights from Wheelock till Paragon stretch.

    The Heeren --> Paragon --> Lucky Plaza --> Tangs Shopping Mall --(cross underpass) --> Shaw House ---(cross underpass) --> Wheelock place --(cross underpass) --> ION -->Wisma Atria --> Ngee Ann City --(cross orchard link)--> Mandarin Gallery --> 313 Orchard --(cross orchard road) --> The Heeren (End)]


    Cairnhill Place carpark rate: 5.00 pm - 6.59 am $3.50 First 3 Hours and $1.50 Sub Hour

    cheapest parking is at Ion... $2 per entry after 6pm... Some more outside CBD.

    But not sure about availability of lots.

    After 8pm no need to paid ERP.. I quite doubt there have parking lot, cause now day a lot people "Cheong" for X'mas BBB..

    This is quite a large area to cover for a night. Not sure if I can cover the whole distance even by walking not stop in under an hour. hmmm.....

    I think you can still use the pedestrian crossing on ground to cross there. This way you can see tang, ion, shaw and wheelock all round.

    It was quite fun
    Am a bit pooped after walking around. I think my shots were only so-so. It was REALLY crowded. Full of people taking photos of each other in front of the decorations
    Will post the photos tomorrow evening perhaps. Whoever has uploaded photos, kindly start a photo thread I suppose land/cityscape?
