About the producing area of D70?
Hi, everyone. I got my D70 set at CP yesterday.
But, I found there is no "Made in Thailand" sign on the bottom of the body. Who got the same kind of body? Is it correct? btw: Definitely, I have got the Full Set Of Warranty Card (3 Pieces) from the CP.  Thanks, Alex |

I have the one that say "Nikon Corp. Japan" ... I suspect those equipment that are made in Japan like the D100 and D2H has "Made In Japan" instead.

All D70s say Nikon Corp Japan, but rest assured, ALL D70s are made in Thailand

Some of friends tell me there is a small sign on the left side of the body show that it is "made in Thailand". like this:

the made in xxxx (country) requirement is not require in market like singapore.
but if ship to usa, country of manufacturing must be displayed.
