Default Photo Sharing - Lembeh Trip

Hi all

My feeble attempt on wide angle, Photo taken in Raw format, white balance adjusted in CS. I'm not very happy with my macro shots this trip round, worst still, my wide angles, a disaster actually, i might be taking up the 180 air fare offer............

As usual, Critical comments most welcomed. Photo taken at Bangka Islands

Pix #3 is fantastic!! Very well done!
Only minor criticism is that one of the model's strobes is chopped off....

Yo bro,
1st shot. If you take a lower angle, diver in mid blue with the sun burst behind = cover short
3rd shot. Seems like plenty of particles being lit by your strobe.
Since air fare is so cheap, lets go man. On the whole not bad la.

more waisj!!!
and kthan, i like #2 as well... model in #3 looks like a crab. actually i like #2 much better really.
#1 looks great at first glance but looking at it again, i think the diver now spoils the pic. how about a square crop and leave the focus on the feathers and fan.

i like #2. nice....

Well the company was exceptionally superb, with eric around there weren't a single dull moment .Diving conditions and resort are cosy and nice as well, only problem is just the photographer... screwed alot of shots.... thus nothing much to show......

i have learnt , during this trip, that i must use a diffuser when shooting white subjects. your whites do not look overexposed / burnt, unlike some of mine. I like the composition, with the whip coral in the bkground.

your subject does not look sharp though.

Thanks Bro,

I selectively "cheated" by sharpening the shrimp on the whip itself.
Better i suppose......
