    Default Oversea Friend Coming - Need Advice

    A friend of mine is coming to Singapore for 6 days. Is there any MUST GO places that I can bring her around? Thanks for advices

    From which country?? If Jap/Korean mix with angmoh ( )I volunteer to be tour guide for free.=) Oh... and female pls.. haha

    I suppose the normal... but can group into interest

    Common Touristy places (paying)
    Zoo, Night Safari, JBP, Sentosa, Museums

    Off the beaten path touristy places (mostly non-paying)
    Chinatown, Little India, Geylang Serai, Walk aroung the River, Esplanade,
    Ubin (have to pay the ferry), ECP?
    haha notice how these are the places where CS goes to shoot.. haha.

    Shopping
    Orchard, Marina, Holland V ( notice a lot of jap tourists there recently)

    Eating
    Geylang (supper followed by a tour of the seedy lorongs if theyre game.. see only no touch haha)
    Katong - for the laksa and other delights
    err... actually eating everywhere also have la.. haha Singapore where got such thing as no food?

    Haha... So remember... if jap/korean mix with angmoh chick I volunteer...

    Hmm... this is bad for street cred... haha

    Thanks, too bad you won't be interested to be the tour guide I guess. My gf is coming.

    She's will be staying at my place for sure. Anyway she prefer art and culture things. Will bring her to Arab St and Little India. Anymore places?

    Culture...... thought of bringing her to the places you frequent? Let her experience the life of everyday Singaporeans? Nothing comes closer than that.

    esplanade? u guys can probably spend an ENTIRE day there! and NEVER, EVER go there without UR CAMERA!

    As my usual way bring my friends, i think should start at Bugis and Waterloo temple, Singapore Calligraphy Society, Queen St, then Singapore Arts Museum, later can take a coffee break at Dome Cafe, continue to City Hall, CHIJMES, Asian Civilazation Museum, The Arts House., Merlion Park, Esplanade, later from Esplanade take bus 195 to Clarke to enjoy ur dinner.
    This is one of my simple itinerary ......

    Hoi!

    First thing is to bring your overseas fren to see Merlion. Most overseas people haven't seen such a half-lion half-fish creature.

    For culture bring your fren to eat Char Koi Teaw. That's culture. And food is culture.

    And after makan there's the Durian. I mean the building not the fruit.

    No! try the fruit also kekek..i've always get a kick out of conning them into eating durians.
