Default How to get file size of not more than 10kb???

I need to submit a resume electronically & was told to attach my photo of size not more than 10kb (110px x 150px).
However, when I crop using PS with 110px x 150px, at a resolution of 75ppi, I still get around 20kb. I tried uploading this but was rejected (file too large)...
Can anyone advise me how to get such a small file size? I even tried using 30ppi (I know screen resolution need 75 ppi) but still ended up only 18kb...

Forget PPI, it is meaningless unless you are printing the picture. Use "Save For Web" JPG no metadata and a quality of approx 40 and it should be well within the spec.

if just save as normal jpg, or web jpg, it you show you the filesize before you save the file, just need lower the quality of till you able to get the file size you need.

different in ppi is meaningless, if your physical pixel size is still remind the same.

Just select save for web in photoshop.
    Screen resolution 72dpi
    Quality ~8 will do.

If all fails. try reducing your image size.
