Default Does it matter if my lens is not movie compatible ?

All, I just bought a micro 4/3 PL1. I notice from the catalog my kit lens (14-42 mm f3.5) is not MSC. And I'm looking to buy a pancake lens which is also not MSC. Does it matter ?

    Thanks.

Does it matter for what? It won't matter if you use your lens as paper weight. But we can only guess about what else you intend to use it for
Besides, there is a subforum for 4/3 here. Maybe you could have a look there?
