Default FZ10 as a web cam?

I find it kind of silly using such camera as a web cam. Kind of ex isn't it? Don't you think a $30 webcam can serve its purpose well?

not going to burn off your LCD (they do have a shelf life)..
might as well get a cheap webcam..

Think the point he wants to make is that users can link the cam to a screen and to be able to treat the screen as the lcd for shot composing.
