Default Where is your FZ10 manufactured in?

Seems like there are many people having the FZ10 here. Care to look at which country your FZ10 are manufacture in.

Could the country of origin be the problem that some user are complaining about the picture quality

Frankly speaking, I think you are asking too many trival questions. If you are feeling so insecure about the camera, my advice is: "DON'T BUY IT". This is by no mean a perfect camera. But is a good enough tool for one to develop his/her skills.

What's your problem? You don't have to post any reply if you don't feel like. Nobody force you to do so. After all, forums are for people to share, find info, etc...

I just feel that camera from different country does have different qualities. My previous C750 is made in China and I just think its not as great. I can see some dust inside the lens!!!

honestly, i also agree with xmen2003. but it should be the other way round. if u can't accept comments or other people's reply, please don't ask here. a camera made in japan doesn't mean it is guaranteed to give u better quality pictures etc. i am sure lots of people here do agree, but then again ... it's up to you. go get a camera made in japan and show us your great photos. do not be so hostile in your replies though. peace.

I did give you the info you wanted.

I just want to remind you that if you start worrying about stuff like that, you cannot truly enjoy the camera. QC problems can happen anywhere. If there is truly a problem, simply send it back to the service center. D70 is made in Thailand and that does not stop the thousands of users from buying it.

Default Country of Manufacture.....

Hiee....

Just to enlighten you....worrying about what is made where, is not a good data point tool nowadays..

The "Made in Where" label is also questionable.

e.g Your camera lens block may be coming from Taiwan, Main Printed Circuit and logic board from China, flash circutry and assembly from russia. Finally assembled in japan then send to malaysia for final body casing and then labelled made in Malaysia.

$$$ is always driving factor now in these industries. They can find methods to reduce cost as nuch as possible in terms of things like -
- material
- labour
- inport/export tax (imposed on partial or finished goods)
etc....

Therefore.....to answer the:
Could the country of origin be the problem that some user are complaining about the picture quality......QUESTION...

I guess.....i think country of origin itself may not be a good start after all.....and i don't think there is enough users in here to come up with any good statistics as background for any assumption.............

rgds,
sulhan

To me, a forum is for discussion and that is why it is call a forum. If you don't like me asking the question, just don't reply to my post.

I have every rights to ask any question I want. After all, what is wrong with the question of where is it made from? And didn't I ask nicely? I ask because I wanted to know more and it matters to me!!! I can accept comments from any members here, but not in RUDE and UNWILLINGLY manners.

And the country where a product is made from does make a difference to me! And given a choice of Japan and china for electrical goods, I would choose those made in Japan! I also believe that would be the choice of anyone of you too!

I am just trying to emphasize that statement, not shouting at you. I am speaking from my own personal experience. When I am feeling uncomfortable abt a particular cam and eventually do get it, I tend to nitpick it. So why waste the money? Get one you really like else you will unwittingly find fault with it. When you are obsessed with such things, you will never be able to appreciate it. Just some useless advice from me. No intention to start war or be rude.

HI all,

Let cool down. Do not start any... anywhere the objective is always very clear. Everyone here is very open.. sometimes can get you into a 'WAR'

It is meant for ppl like you and me to share experiences and not fall into one if possible.

Let us shake hands OK?

everything in the camera body is made in Japan..but adapters made in China...

but i guess to a large extent, many ppl do view things made in Japan as high quality stuff..though few things are entirely made i Japan now...most likely Russia, India, China, Thailand etc....

I personally value Panasonic's cameras because not only are they good...it can be a plus point that they are made in Japan!
