    i mean if the crescent moon is shifted more to the side, it's look fine

    This is an insult to our nations, they should have asked MICA permision because it's stated the rule clearly

    " The flag or any image of it may also not be used or applied as or as part of any costume or attire.[51] "

    (3) The Flag shall not be —
    (a) used in any trademark or for any commercial purpose;
    (b) used as a means, or for the purposes, of advertisement;
    (c) used as, or as part of, any furnishings, decoration, covering
    or receptacle;
    (d) displayed or used at any private funeral activity; or
    (e) incorporated or worn as part of any costume or attire

    Must give marks for creative thinking.

    I think there may be a market for red trunks with the new moon; remove the stars to get out of trouble.

    The official who approved the swimming trunk should be punished

    what official? LOL they didn't even ask permission from the government to carry out this daring show of manhood!

    btw the crescent moon looks more like a banana.

    anyways. i find the design lacking in taste.

    AND. the ladies love it.

    but then again, ladies will love anything that's tall, muscular and wearing those tight, tight speedos :/

    Come on....It was just a bad design...don't like it....discontinued it lor....no need to make a hoo haa....the SEA king loose until so jialat in Asiad no one console, and still kena huntam for a badly design swimming trunk

    The designer prob trying to be creative....enlarging Sg flag (a fan or macros )....unfortunately the garment is too little and people felt funny....I bet if the same design applied onto female swimming suit it might get differrent feedback

    On second look....Turkey flag also very similar...minus a few of the stars

    People nowadays think they can do anything under the arm of patriotism.

    Not only it's lousy design, but most importantly, this is such a disgrace to our nation. I wouldn't mind if this design was worn as a headgear for the boys, with our Nation always in their heads, but as a piece of trunks? Anyway, they are playing in the water most of the time. Who will get to see their trunks besides themselves and their opponents?

    No wonder they were trashed by Japan! Kicked at the vital position?

    The trunk shows that these guys have the balls to wear!

    The crescent moon is strategically placed, to spur the boys to greater heights, and to RISE to the occasion!
