no lah, from level 6 by the railing, using 70-200 lens. only saw 1 official photog on the ground, none where shooting from the top. (i wished i could
)

flash isn't encouraged in such a situation.
the event is a speed (not difficulty) climbing competition, and by pumping the flash from above the climbers, you may pose distraction as the human eye will naturally open up in low light levels, and potentially blinding them as they are gauging their moves. in the future, do gauge if it is safe enough to use flash at all. ![]() |
