    This has comedy/tragedy written all over it. EVILs and SLTs would be caught in Purgatory of not being simply classified and the all the DSLR photographers there would have to find some way of getting recognized as "journalists"

    Maybe giantcanopy was not specific enough.

    Pls read carefully.. What is being banned is the use of DSLR and not photography. Shooting in Leica DSLR is still illegal in Kuwait.. The only way is to shoot in Leica M9 (Titanium one preferred)

    Earlier on, the Kuwait Times newspaper published an article on the ban of use of DSLR cameras by the govt. Now they claimed that the article was wrongly published as the ban did not exist. False info. In other words, it was a screw-up by the newspaper.
