When I'm in your situation (with a kid that attends many ceremonies, etc), then I'll likely be singing a different tune!
But for now, my dad's 55-200 serves me pretty well when I really need the reach!
Oh okay. Dully noted. A zoom is a must have for all!

I've taken note of Sigma's DSLR way before I got my D90... but since I'm on Nikon, no point looking elsewhere ... Grass will always look greener on the other side, but once you've over there, the picture will not be a perfect one...

    condition doesn't look 'shiok'...
If i was after this lens (and I'm not), I would rather pay more for one in better condition

oh btw, this lens doesn't look like it has space for tripod collar... does it?

Well, do you see Manita asking like that? I believe good habits start from young... And should be rightly encouraged, although comments should be toned down due to age.

For me, I'd always encourage my kid to take out the dictionary whenever he reads a book. Or when he is on the internet, use the online one, search on wiki or use google search box for fast and quick spell-checker... These days I hardly hear any bugging from him about spelling unless it's a toughie...

If you spoon feed, they'd expect spoon feeding through the ages... when you stop, guess what's going to happen? They will brawl "you don't me anymore...."
