    Do the salt test and you will know. But for $2 one cannot complain too much. Buy 5, one should be accurate enough. On the other hand: 5% RH deviation won't do anything to camera or fungus. Just because we can measure RH with post decimal accuracy doesn't mean it really matters.

    There are 2 kinds that I saw. One was the black one, (thermometer + hygrometer), the other is just solely a hygrometer. The one that is just a hygrometer seems to be very accurate in terms of humidity measurement when I compared it to my electronic hygrometer bought from homefix @ $30. As for how long it lasts/how durable, I cannot tell as I've just bought it not long ago.

    I started out with Thirsty Hippo. My D70 still looks fine till this day.
