Don't think the 100MB has anything to do with loyalty...the front page of yahoo mail says that 100MB free if you sign up.

I'm not surprised Yahoo mail has increased the capacity to 100mb.

I suspect this is because google intends to launch a free 1Gb email.

A simpler url would be http://mail.yahoo.com.sg

Logging in is pretty fast. I didn't notice any drop in service level, speed wise. But I was trying to sign up another new email account and I'm having gateway timeout. Guess a lot of people are signing up to Y!

It was quite slow yesterday and POP access was also down. Today it's working fine though.

The new deal by Yahoo makes Hotmail looks every inch a cheapo email with only 2MB. U can be sure that it won't be long before Hotmail gets into the act too. The rest of the email portals would have to follow too if they don't want to be consigned to history.

I'm on the Yahoo Mail Plus (paid service). They just upped the space to 2Gb and there are NO ADVERTISMENTS.

    I think Hotmail sucks.

Someone emailed me a photo from his digicam. It just clogged up all my space and I have to clear everything to make space for incoming mails.

And for a period I couldn't delete my junk mails because every time I did it Hotmail forced me to go to a page to sign up something which I refused to do.

I've been trying yahoo for a few months and happy with it. I will be moving all my mails to it now that there is the 100mb offer. And there are a lot less junk mails in yahoo.
