Default Last few steps of photo editing

hi guys, there are a few things that i would like to double check

    1. usually, we resize then then we apply unsharpen mask, correct?

    2. lets say we start off with an image that is 4000++ by 2000++ pixels, after editing, how do your shrink the size/pixel to store the image? (the main priority here is to shrink the size of the image without reducing too much of the image quality so that it is much easier to store and transfer)

    3. Do your usually watermark your images?

dun whack me, i also noob.. I also apply all the above steps in this way using photoshop actions. Not sure if it is the correct way..

    1) I also do the same.
    2) I do image resize with photoshop then save as highest quality possible. Usually 5mb becomes 1mb for 800 X 600 size pic.
    3) I also watermark.. cos I see others doing it also.. hahaa.. I include the year in it so I can recall some information when I see it next time.

Curious to find out more also....
