Default Singapore Wind Symphony - Chamber Series (Part 1)

Hi

Here are some stuff I tried while shooting the SWS in concert today - i wanted to try something different during the shoot..............so i turned my attention to the objects of music......

Pre Concert Preparations
EOS D30, Sigma 20 mm f1.8
1/60 sec, f/2.0
ISO: 800


The Makings of Music
EOS D30, Sigma 20 mm f1.8
1/25 sec, f/4.0
Mode: Av
ISO: 800


Twin Trumpets
EOS D30, EF 70-200 f2.8L at 200mm
1/125 sec, f/2.8
ISO: 800


All Ready to Go
EOS D30, Sigma 20 mm f1.8
1/125 sec, f/2.8
Mode: Av
ISO: 800

Overall, I prefer the 1st and 3rd pictures. The 4th is a bit static, and the 2nd a bit contrived.

it's a wide angle lens...wat bokeh u want? :P

its bokeh is very good at close focus distance though........

heh.....yeah..i like it too.....i didn't think much of it when i took it....just thought it might be an interesting shot.......only when i went back home and looked at the shot did i realise hey, that's not too bad!
