Strobes and Radio Slave

anyone used a pocket wizard with studio strobes before?

I'm planning to get the 2 strobes from eastgear when its in, so some form of wireless may be required considering that the strobes would most likely be behind the camera, would the pocket wizard be the best option or would you have a different equipment idea?

I'm trying to figure whether its also possible to link up a canon 550EX flash as master *as opposed to the pocket wizard mounted on your hotshoe.

also, would you know where to buy the pocket wizard plus in singapore?
