Amazing work and cohesion of the local shooters.
I think we have enough clout to do something like that

I was just reading through the site in more detail. A lot of technical planning went into the shoot. Anyone has any idea where to begin if such a mammoth task were to be undertaken?
    Exploring! :)

    Hard to say.

Some members here have good suggestions.

    We need more.

At any rate, this may or may not be part of ClubSNAP's big-bang.

Have to see how it goes, but ANY MEMBER could take the LEAD and start preparations.

    More of what suggestion?
    Better reason?

How about we light up the bukit timah nature reserve?
Uncle CP can come flying in a helicopter and snap the event.
This shows that we must protect our natural environment.
Private aircraft is allow to fly in the airspace above the nature reserve.
We can ask our National Park Board to sponsor the helicopter rental and co-organise the event.

On top of it, we can set a Guinness world record for lighting up the largest land area with the most number flash for a single photo or something along that line.

With such publicity, we probably can even get sponsors for flash, batteries, etc.

the logistic and coordination..... will be a superhuman task.
and only the cs moderators and admin will be able to pull this off.... :-)

First task will be to sell the idea to the National Park and make them fall in love with it....

i'll raise a few qns then we slowly ans. i'll think of more if i can along the way

    number of photographers needed?
location of where we wanna light up?
what type of trigger to use?
all the same type of flash?
who will take the final photo?

waaahhh.. i also wanna join if this materialises..
i am no expert in flash/strobe, but for trigger, maybe can use something like radio with domino effect? like from the camera to the nearest flashes, then from there it spreads out? anyway radio is EM wave, so the speed should be fast enough to reach the furthest flash..
    hehehe..

it will be amazing if we could pull something like that off in Singapore... even if you are just there witnessing it, it would be magical!
